How can you tell whether it's a real Rolex watch?

Wearing a branded watch completes a man's ensemble with faultless elegance. Nothing like a good old Rolex when it comes to business. A copy, on the other hand, should not be carried. They are easily identifiable. Most of the time, the price is already a significant role in showing the Rolex watch's legitimacy. Perfect copies, on the other hand, can fetch up to $ 500. So, how do you spot them? Here are some things to think about. If you'd like more information, we have an article about Rolex Milgauss price.

The watch's second hand

On a watch, it's a must-have. The second hand of a Rolex must glide smoothly and softly across the dial to tell the accurate time. On the watch, there is no ticking. As the second hand travels ahead in a cascade pattern, the Rolex replicas make a lot of noise. This noise is quite irritating to the user, especially when they are in a peaceful environment. Only the ticking of his false Rolex can be heard. The following link leads to an article about Rolex just date price that can be read by visitors.

The watch's total weight

The weight of a genuine Rolex is one of its distinguishing features. A genuine Rolex is, in fact, quite weighty. This is owing to the materials used in its construction, which include gold and steel. Fake Rolexes, on the other hand, are lighter due to the light and inexpensive materials utilised in their production. You can find more information in our article Rolex Explorer II retail price.

The watch's serial number

A serial number can be found on every Rolex watch. The serial number is stamped below 6 o'clock on the bottom of the watch, while the model number is stamped above 12 o'clock on the top. To see these numbers, however, you must remove the watch strap. One final point to consider is that a genuine Rolex does not have a sapphire crystal caseback that allows the mechanism to be seen in motion. You can also find our article about contact Rolex customer service here.

The timepiece's water resistance

A genuine Rolex is completely waterproof. It is because of this personality that the watch has created a reputation for itself in the world of watchmaking. Simply do the basin test by submerging the watch in water for a few minutes to verify this. If the watch continues to work after some time, it is a genuine Rolex. The only catch is that this test is not available in stores. Salespeople will never allow their Rolex to be dumped in the toilet. An insightful article about Rolex Datejust waterproof is available on our site.

How to Remove a Rolex Bracelet

Your Rolex bracelet, often called as a bracelet, can be removed to be replaced or to clean your Rolex. Once you've removed your Rolex bracelet, you may find the serial number at the 12 o'clock position, where the bracelet joins the case, or the reference number at the 9 o'clock position, where the bracelet meets the case. The serial and reference numbers can help you figure out when the watch was made.

On the lugs of the watch case, where the strap is affixed, two small holes on opposite sides of the spring bar should be visible. It's known as the pierced ear style. The spring bar secures the strap to the watch case. If you don't see two holes on the lugs, turn the watch over and look for the long elastic bar where the strap meets the watch case. The removal of the watch band differs slightly between the two watch styles stated above, but the concept is the same.

If you have pierced ears, press the link where the strap meets the watch case with your thumb. If you have the second style, you will press the first link as well, but on the bottom side, because you will be turning the watch over to do everything. Apply gentle pressure to the link as you complete step 3.

Insert the tip of your spring-loaded instrument into the ear hole if you have pierced ears. Push the spring bar inward on one side of the watch, then the other. The elastic bar will drop into the housing if this step is done correctly.

If you have the second style, place the tip of your tool on one side of the spring bar and push it inside while applying downward pressure to the spring bar. The holster will be drawn into the elastic bar. Reverse the process on the other side of the elastic bar.

Remove the watch band from the watch case once the spring bars on the right and left sides of the band have been loosened. The bracelet has now been removed in half. Rep steps 2 and 3 on the opposite side of the watch to remove the strap completely.
